Ugly teenager chickens (that are actually kinda cute)

Little behind on the posts.  I know, no one is surprized.  BUT, I am trying :)   My goal this year is to at least attempt to stay caught up occasionally!  So here goes.  From back in March :)

They are starting to look like chickens.... but kinda scraggely.

Minerva has her barred rock feathers developing- it is so fun to see them change!

The "puffs" as we affectionately called them looked like they had Halloween costumes on.  The feathers on their head were the last to come in!  But wait until you see them now....

Grandma Howard and Tara on the porch at Callahans feed store.  Love that place- live music on the weekends, yes people this is Austin, even at a feed store they got bands going on.....

Local Pecan farms.  I don't think they have problems with people stealing their nuts if this squirrel comes to life at night....
